i currently work for Columbo as a creative producer, my main venues being Blues Kitchen, The Old Queens Head and The Parakeet, as well as helping out on Metropolis and Maiden Voyage. day to day, i look after socials, planning and creating content, heading up shoots and all that good stuff.
i have loved working at Columbo. i love how hands on i get to be in all the venues, and i'm thankful that i have the freedom to create, and lead socials with a clear vision. my want is always to produce the best work, in the way that makes the most sense (while having the most fun). one thing i take the most pride in over my time at Columbo, would be the success of both social rebrands for The Blues Kitchen & The Old Queens Head. i felt as though there was a disconnect between brand ethos/identity vs how we showed up online, and there was so much space for the introduction of personality as well as growth of community. understanding audience has always been my strong suit and is genuinely something i'm really passionate about (give the people what they want!). we’re in a constantly evolving space, and i love being at the front of that.
my absolute favourite part of working here is the video creation. whether it's a Cig Break Take TikTok for Queens, a POV night out at Blues or a quick shot foodie vid for Parakeet, i would say i spend the majority of my days planning, shooting and editing. we work in such a fast-paced industry so the stream of content is ever-flowing, which definitely adds to the excitement.
